Monthly Message
Jesus teaches us to pray, "Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors." Throughout Scripture we see how vital forgiveness is to our relationship with God. Jesus death on the cross is all about forgiveness and restoring a right relationship between us and our Creator. Experience has taught me that the work of forgiveness is never easy or simple, however it is essential for a right relationship with God. Attitudes of unforgiveness blocks our grace receptors which makes it impossible for us to receive the love and grace of the Lord. Unforgiveness only destroys us. Jesus words from the cross, "Father, forgive them. They don't know what they are doing," should be our prayer throughout life.
